Color Names, Size Information, and Washing Instructions

Color names and size descriptions, as they appear in this shop, are not standardized.

Specifically, this means that a t-shirt in size XL from Manufacturer A may have completely different measurements compared to a t-shirt in size XL from Manufacturer B. Even within a brand, different items (e.g., polo shirt vs. t-shirt) can have entirely different measurements despite having the same size label. This is especially true for so-called Slim-Fit/Body-Fit shirts, which do not necessarily align in sizing with unisex items from the same brand. The same applies to women's and men's shirts from the same manufacturer. Naturally, women's shirts are cut differently than their men's counterparts, even if the size labels are identical.

Color names are often not particularly descriptive. Even with color names that most consumers are familiar with, discrepancies often occur. People may visualize royal blue or apple green differently. There is no binding color standard. As a result, the same color name may appear completely different across different brands or even different items within the same brand. Unfortunately, this problem cannot be solved using the color bars printed in the catalog. Every printed color bar appears different under various lighting conditions, and accurately representing textile colors on paper is nearly impossible.

Before ordering a larger quantity of textiles or having them printed/embroidered, you may want to order a sample to review. Complaints based on subjective size or color perceptions cannot be accepted.

We strongly emphasize that all textile items made from cotton or a cotton-polyester blend must be washed before their first wear. Due to (though completely harmless and safe) chemical residues in textiles, wearing them without washing—especially under UV exposure—can lead to chemical reactions between body sweat and these residues. These resulting color changes will remain even after subsequent washes. Complaints and claims related to this are therefore excluded.
